Katerina Nash
Mountain Bike
Small town girl
I grew up in a tiny town in Czechoslovakia. We didn't have malls, but we did have mountains — lots of them. I spent my days skiing, cycling and exploring nature. I even went to a sports-centered high school, so my life revolved around athletics. I always focused on training, training, training — which got me into the Olympics for both cross-country skiing and mountain biking. Now, I live in a small town near Lake Tahoe, where I have everything I love: cool little shops, organic farmer's markets and endless hills in every direction. I've never been good at city life. For me, small towns mean big dreams.
