Ryan was born in San Clemente, CA and still calls the Southern California beach city home. It was at the tender age of eighteen months that he first stepped foot on a skateboard. Soon after entering contests at a young age, he started winning them. By age thirteen, Ryan was pro for World Industries and had taken home an X-Games gold medal. He has since dominated the contest circuit and continues to be one of the outstanding forces to reckon

    The Bowl-A-Rama at Bondi took place on a classic beach day with the sun shining bright and pumping waves. DJ Scott Wolf had the tunes cranking and the crowd in the grandstands cheered loudly for their favorite skaters. After a lot of great skating, 14 year-old phenom Pedro Barros charged his way to another Bowl a Rama victory. Oakley’s Bob Burnquist placed third.

    Last weekend, top bowl skaters from around the globe migrated down to Wellington, New Zealand for the annual Bowl-A-Rama. Brazilian phenom Pedro Barros stepped up his game to beat out Otavio Neto and Josh Borden for the top spot. And Venice local Pat Ngoho skated smooth as butter to win the Master’s!
